  5. TurtleBuilding Independence. Parents begin in the water, aiming to transition out when child is ready.Target age 30 months or older
  6. AngelfishStage 1 equivalent. Learning to submerge, glide and float independently.Target age 30 months to 4 years
  7. SeahorseStage 2 equivalent. Learning to effectively kick & swim 5m freestyle without a breathing pattern.Target age 36 to 63 months
  8. OctopusWorking on the beggings of Stage 3 with the use of flotation aids. Intro of a freestyle breathing pattern.Target age 4 years to 65 months
  9. SharkWorking towards Stage 3. On completion of Shark, students will progress to Stage 3 of our Learn to Swim Program.Target age 4 years

  11. Stage 02 - Water DiscoveryWater Discovery is about being pulled to safety and the development of the freestyle stroke.Target age 59 months or older
  12. Stage 03 - PreliminaryPreliminary includes performing a survival sculling on your back float and learning freestyle breathingTarget age 59 months or older
  13. Stage 04 - Water AwarenessWater Awareness is about the importance of water safety and learning survival backstroke.Target age 5 years or older
  14. Stage 05 - Water SenseWater Sense develops an understanding of the elements in being water safe while extending your backstroke skills.Target age 5 years or older
  15. Stage 06 - JuniorJunior means you can complete a competitive swimming dive as well as gain the ability to swim 50 m freestyle.Target age 5 years or older
  16. Stage 07 - IntermediateIntermediate includes the skill of egg-beater kick used in water polo while extending swimming and survival abilities.Target age 5 years or older
  17. Stage 08 - Water WiseWater Wise develops good judgement in water safety while learning the skill of sidestroke.Target age 5 years or older
  18. Stage 09 - SeniorSenior includes the skill of competitive tumble-turns and learning basic principles of resuscitation.Target age 5 years or older
  19. Stage 10 - Junior Swim and SurviveStage 10 progresses all swim and survive strands, including underwater skills,
  20. Stage 11 - Swim and SurviveSwim and Survive included the use of a personal flotation device while extending swimming and survival abilities. Having gained this skill give canoeing a try.Target age 5 years or older
  21. Stage 12 - Senior Swim and SurviveSenior Swim and Survive includes what to do when escaping from a capsized boat while extending swimming and survival abilities. Having gained these skills give sailing a try.Target age 5 years or older
  22. Stage 13 - Wade RescueTo introduce skills and knowledge of safe water rescue and survival.Target age 5 years or older
  23. Stage 14 - Accompanied RescueTo develop skills and knowledge of safe water rescue and survival.Target age 5 years or older
  24. Stage 15 - Bronze StarTo develop skills and knowledge of safe water rescue and survival.Target age 5 years or older
